About the Role
A School in Pyeongchon, Anyang, Gyeonggido: AM & PM Shifts on JUL & AUG 2025
Contract duration: one year, (PM shifts) & (AM shifts)
Dates available:
1. July 4th, 2025 (training from the end of June)-A. M-Th 1-10/F1-8:30 Gr. 1~middle school (2.4million+). Debate teaching experience a plus* (1-2 teachers needed)
2. August 1st, 2025 (training from mid-July)-M-F 9:40-7:40 kindergarten~grade 6 (salary: 2.8million~)
3. August 19th, 2025 (training from the beginning of Aug.) M-F 9:40-7:40 kindergarten~grade 6 (salary: 2.8million~)
4. August 26th, 2025 (training from Mid-August)- M-Th 1-10/F1-8:30 Gr. 1~middle school (2.4million~). Debate teaching experience*
Age group: elementary grades 1-6 and some MS students
Available visa type: E-2, all F-type visas
Benefits and Compensation include:
2.4M-2.8M salary (depending on experience and AM or PM schedule)

✅ Basic Eligibility Requirements for the E-2 Visa (South Korea)

🎓 Bachelor’s Degree (or Higher)
You must hold at least a BA or BS degree from an accredited university in your home country or in a country where English is the official language.
🔍 Clean Criminal Record
You must provide a national-level criminal background check (CBC/CRC) that is:
· Apostilled

· Less than 6 months old at the time of visa application

🩺 Health & Drug Check
· A medical exam is required after arrival in Korea. It includes:
o General health screening
o Drug test
o HIV test
· Some schools also ask for a self-assessed health statement before issuing a contract.
📜 TEFL / TESOL Certification (Optional but Preferred)
· Not required by Korean Immigration for the E-2 visa itself.
· Strongly preferred by employers, especially:
o 120+ hour courses
o Courses with a teaching practicum
💡 Note: Many schools require a 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate even though it's not a legal visa requirement.
