We are excited to support you on your journey to becoming a certified TEFL teacher.
This handbook provides essential information about your course, support options, and our policies. Please review it carefully.
1. Course Overview

200-Hour TEFL Advanced Certificate (120-Hour Core + 40-Hour Young Learners + 40-Hour Business English)

120-Hour TEFL Certificate

40-Hour Business English Specialist Certificate

40-Hour Young Learners Specialist Certificate

Course Structure:
Each course is divided into modules, consisting of lessons, quizzes, activities, and assignments. -
Completion Requirements:

Complete all required modules.

Submit all activities (two per module, not graded) and assignments (two per module, graded) with a minimum passing score of 80% out of 100 possible.

Complete all final assessments if applicable.

Activities and assignments are automatically assigned a passing grade upon submission, allowing students to progress rapidly through the coursework. However, the assigned TEFL tutor reviews all submissions before a certificate can be issued. All graded assignments must receive an 80% or higher grade. Assignments with a grade below 80% can be retaken and resubmitted for regrading by the TEFL tutor.

3. Certificates

After successfully completing your course, you will receive an official GoTEFL Certificate.

Certificates are issued electronically (in PDF format) free of charge.

Physical certificate mailing services may be available for an additional fee.
📌 Please ensure your name is spelled correctly in your account profile for your certificate.
4. Refund Policy

Refunds are available within 7 days of enrollment, and if less than 10% of the course has been completed.

To request a refund, email support@gotefl.com with your full name and order number.
📌 Refunds cannot be processed after a certificate is issued.
5. Privacy Policy

Your personal data (such as name, email, and course records) is securely stored and will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law.

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.

6. Code of Conduct
We expect all students to:

Complete their coursework honestly and without the use of AI assistance (e.g., ChatGPT, Claud, Gemini, etc.).

Respect GoTEFL staff and fellow learners.

Use course materials for personal study only and do not redistribute or resell them.
Violations of academic integrity or misuse of materials may result in expulsion without refund.
7. Terms and Conditions Summary
